Is twitter a valid Medium for Political News and Satire? What can we learn from this medium and this writing?
I believe that Twitter is a valid medium because it allows for interesting articles to be posted and it limits the amount of words you can use. Secondly, it is a link to more political knowledge and enables people to get new faster and easier than having to scroll through a news website. I think we should continue to use Twitter and this style of writing because it teaches you how to reach your audience. |
Compare Tweets
Rachel Maddows tweet is more serious and abrupt while The Daily Show is more comical and is targeted towards a younger audience with the use of hashtags. However both of them are about semi-hilarious situations. The Daily show doesn't have many links to articles yet Rachel Maddow does. Finally, The Daily Show has more than triple the amount of retweets then Rachel Maddow, and The Daily show has more than triple the amount of favorites too. Quotes from friends
